UNP fulfils terms of MOA with adopted schools
The University of Northern Philippines carried out the terms provided in the memorandum of agreement with two adopted schools.
The College of Engineering (COE) faculty of UNP presented the plan, bill of materials, and program of works for the rehabilitation/improvement of Sto. Tomas Elementary School stage on February 23, 2024 to the administration and faculty of the adopted school.
The plan presented is a realization of the adopted school’s request which was asked to COE faculty during their visit on February 8.
The presentation of the plan, bill of materials and program of works for the rehabilitation/improvement of Sto. Tomas Elementary School stage was led by Dr. Nelia Verzosa, Dean, COE, assisted by Asst. Dean Engr. Franklyn Amistad, and faculty members Engrs. Paul Rommel Valencia, Paul Joshua Valencia, Gaylord Frando, and Raffy Lopez.
The team was headed by Dr. Fatima Rocamora, Vice President for Research and Extension, and witnessed by Profs. May Evelia Ruadap and Claudette Rabago, Extension Coordinators.
Likewise, in response to a request for a lecture by the Lidlidda National High School, a training-workshop on journalism was held February 16, 2024, The participants of the training were student journalists and their adviser. Mr. Johnny Allagadan Jr. of the Public Information Office delivered talks on newswriting, feature writing, photojournalism, and mobile journalism. Also present during the lecture were Profs. May Evelia Radap and Randall Rabacal of the University Extension Office.
