PIAO participates in Taiwan’s Education Exhibition 2024
With the aim to encourage excellent talents to pursue degrees in Taiwan and build strong connections with Taiwan’s industries focusing in STEM, finance, and semiconductor-related fields, the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) through the Public and International Affairs Office (PIAO) participated in the Taiwan INTENSE Program Education Exhibition 2024 at the SMX Convention Center on April 30.
Participants were faculty membets, students, and stakeholders coming from various regions of the Philippines.
Dr. Irene Abigail S. Guerrero, the Officer-in-Charge of PIAO, along with selected Bachelor of Arts in Communication students, attended the exhibition as part of UNP’s commitment to internationalization efforts.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) of Taiwan recently launched the International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program) to promote international talent exchange and collaboration.
The education program exhibit not only served as a platform for students to showcase their talents and skills but also presented a valuable opportunity for them to further their studies and gain work experience in Taiwan.
Through this initiative, UNP was able to broaden its horizons and expand connections that will benefit students, faculty, and other stakeholders in their academic and professional endeavors.
