CBAA educates through extension service delving on customer service and organizational communication
To champion community development and strengthen partnerships with different agencies and institutions, the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) through the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Development Management (BSBA-HRDM) program initiated an extension service with the theme, “Customer Care Excellence: Training on Mastering Service Skills for Memorable Guest Experience” on February 13, 2024, at the Baluarte Zoo Foundation.
Team leaders from various departments of the foundation participated in the event. The service commenced with an intensive talk on effective communication delivered by Dr. Glenn Paul Briones. He discussed the importance of effective communication, and the critical role of listening to customers and colleagues. He emphasized that without communication, success is impossible to achieve in an organization.
The extension activity was followed by another excellent discussion on customer service skills by Dr. Mitessa-Ineh Reynante, a faculty of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM). She accentuated that customer service is the lifeblood of an organization as it attracts more clients if maintained continually and effectively.
The program was organized by Dr. Princess Neptalia Quebral, the Program Chair, and was moderated by Mr. Emman Trevor Quilala, the College Information Coordinator. Mr. Romeo Arce led the question-and-answer forum.
The extension service went smoothly, and the participants were ecstatic and grateful about the new lessons they had learned.
“I enjoyed the discussions, the speakers were excellent in teaching us. There wasn’t a boring moment during their talks,” a participant blissfully shared.
