In celebration of its 60th Founding Anniversary, the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) hosted a lively Book Fair on October 8, 2025, at the President Dorotea C. Filart Hall, widely known as the UNP Library. The event brought together a diverse selection of bookstores from across the Philippines, offering students, faculty, and visitors a wide array of reading materials.
Participating bookstores included International Book Royale Inc., Linar International Book Resources, Inc., and ESM Bookstores, showcasing books spanning multiple genres—from Accountancy to Web Development.
Mr. Orlando Moises, facilitator from Books Atbp. Publishing Corporation, explained that the fair provided an opportunity to present new publications aligned with updated academic curricula from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Department of Education (DepEd), and other institutions. He added that his company also supports academic educators interested in producing and distributing their own course textbooks.
The Book Fair ran until October 10, giving visitors several days to browse, discover, and purchase a wide range of educational materials and literary works.
