The College of Engineering proudly celebrated a new generation of licensed professionals as it formally honored its 2025 Civil, Geodetic, and Sanitary Engineering licensure examination passers during a Testimonial Luncheon on December 10, 2025, at the UNP Gymnasium—an occasion that gathered university leaders, faculty, students, and families in a resounding tribute to excellence, perseverance, and professional triumph.
Framed by the theme “Engineering Triumphs: Celebrating Excellence, Unity, and Legacy,” the luncheon served as a resounding tribute to the College of Engineering’s collective achievement in consistently producing board passers across diverse engineering fields. The celebration reflected a legacy of excellence forged through unity and shared purpose.
The program was marked by inspiring messages from university and college leaders, setting a tone of purpose and responsibility for the occasion. University President Dr. Erwin Cadorna expressed deep pride in the remarkable achievements of the board passers and the College of Engineering, emphasizing that their success stands as a testament to the University of Northern Philippines’ commitment to academic excellence and professional integrity. He reaffirmed the University’s mission to constantly nurture highly competent, ethical, and socially responsible engineers, equipped with the skills, values, and sense of service needed to contribute meaningfully to national development.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rolando Navarro emphasized the vital role of ethical practice, lifelong learning, and service to society in the engineering profession. He challenged the new engineers to go beyond personal success and harness their knowledge and skills in advancing the public good, stressing their responsibility to contribute meaningfully to nation-building and national development.
In her message, College Dean Dr. Nelia Verzosa praised the graduates’ grit, discipline, and dedication, emphasizing that their milestones are the product of rigorous academic training, committed faculty mentorship, and a strong support system that defines the college’s pursuit of engineering excellence.
