On February 9, 2026, faculty from the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) College of Public Administration (CPAd) conducted a benchmarking visit at the University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP NCPAG) and National University (NU) Dasmariñas. The visits focused on curriculum design, research methodologies, quality assurance, and urban campus integration, equipping UNP-CPAd to elevate its public administration programs.
At UP NCPAG, faculty gained insights into advanced teaching frameworks and governance research during substantive discussions hosted by Dean Dr. Kristoffer Berse. Earlier that day, the group toured NU Dasmariñas, observing how the campus thrives amid commercial hubs while upholding academic standards.
The initiative underscores UNP’s drive for excellence, made possible by President Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna’s support for faculty development. UNP-CPAd thanks UP NCPAG for their warm hospitality and generous book donations, which will bolster the UNP library.
These collaborations reinforce knowledge exchange in public administration education, preparing students for responsive governance roles.
