The entire College of Arts and Sciences family is beaming with pride as we celebrate our distinguished alumnus, UNP President 𝗗𝗥. 𝗘𝗥𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗙. 𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗔, for receiving the prestigious 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱! 
This award is the perfect honor for a leader who has already earned many national and international accolades. A proud graduate of our BS Physics program (Class of 1985, Cum Laude), Dr. Cadorna’s leadership has truly sparked a period of incredible growth and achievement for UNP. His visionary leadership has left a clear mark, and the university’s remarkable accomplishments during his term speak for themselves:
𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: He masterfully steered the University to achieve the globally recognized ISO 9001:2015 Certification, cementing a foundation of operational excellence and world-class standards.
𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Under his watch, producing top-notchers in various professional licensure examinations has become the norm. This culture of academic champions is further proven by UNP being hailed as the Top Performing SUC with the Highest Number of Level III and IV Accredited Programs in 2021 by AACCUP.
𝗣𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: He has championed a flourishing research culture, dramatically increasing faculty involvement and the university’s scholarly output in prestigious Scopus, WOS, and ACI-indexed journals.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: His leadership has strengthened the university’s commitment to service, spearheading high-impact livelihood projects, medical missions, and skills training that directly empower and uplift local communities.
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: He has successfully launched UNP onto the global stage, securing rankings in prestigious international assessments like the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI), Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, and the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings.
