To further uphold the essence of environmental protection and sustainability, students from the University of Northern Philippines Bachelor of Arts in Communication Program through the Association of Communication Enthusiasts (ACE) conducted a coastal clean-up in Daclapan, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur on April 22.
This initiative was part of the COMMference 2025, an annual activity by the program that aims to enhance the participants’ knowledge on journalism, and how they can contribute to positive social change.
Present on the said activity was Dr. Irene Abigail Guerrero, Program Head of BA Communication, who provided guidance to the participating students.
With this activity, the BA Communication students continue to be contributors of change that transcends even beyond the borders of the university.
