BS Psych holds 3rd Pinning Ceremony

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) celebrated the 3rd Pinning Ceremony for BS Psychology practicum students on December 17, 2025, at the UNP Auditorium. This event marked a pivotal milestone in their academic and professional journeys, signaling their transition to hands-on practicum training.

Organized by the Psychology Program, the ceremony united students, faculty, and university personnel to honor growth, commitment, and readiness for real-world engagement. A standout moment was the inspiring lecture by Dr. Ann Maribel Medina Hapin, Board of Trustee of the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP). Dr. Hapin shared essential insights on ethical practice, professional competence, and lifelong learning, urging students to adapt to evolving community needs while upholding the highest standards.

Faculty, non-teaching staff, and the broader academic community filled the auditorium, showcasing UNP’s robust support for the program. This gathering reinforced the university’s dedication to holistic, values-driven education through experiential learning in clinical, educational, and industrial settings.

The pinning served as a poignant send-off, equipping students with ethical grounding and practical insights to excel as future psychology professionals.
