CBAA Senior Entrep Students kickstart YES – Entrep Hub

The College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) officially launched the Young Entrepreneurship Station (YES) on February 7, 2025, at the West Wing of the Encarnacion CBAA Building. This initiative aims to provide students with a platform to develop hands-on entrepreneurial skills and transform their business ideas into reality.

The event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Dr. Rolando B. Navarro, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Erwin T. Tolbe, Dean of the college, joined by esteemed faculty members. Their presence underscored the institution’s commitment to nurturing future business leaders by offering students real-world entrepreneurial exposure.

As part of the launch, student-led business ventures took center stage, showcasing unique and locally inspired food products through booth displays. These enterprises reflected the creativity and business acumen of young entrepreneurs eager to apply their knowledge in a dynamic market setting.

The YES initiative is envisioned as a hub for innovation and enterprise, where students can experiment, collaborate, and refine their business strategies. By fostering experiential learning, the program strengthens students’ confidence and prepares them for the challenges of the business world.

With the successful launch of YES, CBAA reaffirms its commitment to empowering aspiring entrepreneurs, equipping them with the skills, experience, and mindset necessary to thrive in competitive industries.
