CCIT powers Ms. Narvacan 2025 with innovative tabulation system

In a display of civic engagement and institutional support, the College of Communication and Information Technology played a crucial role in the success of Ms. Narvacan 2025 by extending professional tabulation services. The event, held on December 13, 2025, at the Narvacan Tobacco Farmers’ Tourism Park and Commercial Complex, benefited from the College’s expertise, ensuring accurate and efficient results while strengthening its connection with the local community.

For the event, the College implemented Version 2.0 (V2.0) of its tabulation system, a significant upgrade from the previous version. The enhanced system featured improved speed, accuracy, and reliability, streamlining the processing of results and minimizing potential errors. Its deployment demonstrated the institution’s commitment to leverage technology for efficient and transparent operations, ensuring that tabulations were handled seamlessly and on time.

Demonstrating the College of Communication and Information Technology’s commitment to innovation, the upgraded tabulation system was meticulously developed by the CCIT Tabulation Team. Under the strategic leadership of Dr. Richard Arruejo and Dr. Arpee Arruejo, the project combined technical expertise with collaborative precision, with the former steering its successful implementation. The system not only streamlines data processing but also sets a new benchmark for accuracy and efficiency in tabulations.

During the event, the system’s implementation was closely overseen by a dedicated team of experts and faculty members, including Dr. Rogelio Rabena, Dr. Mariano Romano, Prof. Ade John Gestole, Prof. Nikko Paul Quilana, Prof. Norie Tactay, Prof. Gian Paolo Martin Cabanas, and Mr. Ferino Gem Madriaga. Their active supervision and technical guidance ensured the system operated smoothly, efficiently, and without interruption, reflecting the institution’s commitment to innovation and precision in service delivery.

The activity is a component of the College of Communication and Information Technology’s ongoing community extension programs, reflecting its commitment to deliver innovative, technology-driven services to partner communities. Through initiatives like this, CCIT not only strengthens ties with local stakeholders but also ensures that its expertise in information and communication technology directly benefits the wider community.
