CCJE graduating students undergo coping test anxiety seminar

The graduating students of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) were provided with essential tools to overcome test anxiety in preparation for their board examination through the activity titled, “Take It Easy, Free Yourself from Test Anxiety Seminar—Empowering Minds: Strategies to Conquer Test Anxiety,” held on May 21, 2025 at the UNP Auditorium.

The activity was organized by the Guidance and Counseling Services (GCS) under the Office of Student Affairs and Services – Student Welfare Services Office. The initiative addresses the growing concern over test anxiety among students preparing for high-stakes examinations, such as board examinations.

Ms. Marie Cris Mendoza, a faculty member of the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy and the learning resource provider, equipped the participants with practical coping strategies to manage stress and anxiety. She emphasized building resilience and confidence, enabling students to approach their exams with empowerment rather than fear.

This initiative underscores the university’s goals of promoting mental wellness and preparing ethical leaders through academic excellence, ensuring that students are well-equipped to face both academic and professional challenges.
