The Commission on Higher Education through the Office of Programs and Standards Development (OPSD) conducted a recertification visit to UNP’s ETEEAP programs, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
The evaluation team was composed of members of the Technical Panel for ETEEAP – Dr. Benilda N. Villenas (Co-Chair), Dr. Alexander Franco A. Delantar, and Dr. Bashiruddin A. Ajihil, while CHED was represented by Dr. Myrelle Faith D. Mina of CHEDRO I and Ms. Mely Mar T. Perez from OPSD.
The core of the visit was the evaluation proper, which involved a thorough assessment of key areas such as the roster of external and internal assessors, the laboratory components of the program, and the equivalency assessment instrument, including the workplace visit instrument.
It also covered the feasibility study, which examined projected enrollees, the presence of similar programs in the area, and justification of tuition fees.
This recertification visit reaffirms CHED’s commitment to ensuring that programs offered under ETEEAP continue to meet rigorous academic and industry standards.
