CHS students display excellence, passes TESDA NC II in EMS

Displaying competence and excellence the field of health services, ninety-five (95) students from the University of Northern Philippines – College of Health Sciences Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Services IV successfully passed the National Certificate II (NC II) in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) assessment, held at Tarlac Ecumenical Christian College across three schedules: March 3–7, 17–20, and March 31–April 3. The assessment was conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Moreover, the NC II certification affirms the students’ skills in basic life support, emergency response, and pre-hospital care—core areas of their curriculum. This milestone reflects the strong collaboration between students and faculty members in ensuring hands-on competency in emergency medical services.

Program coordinators and instructors praised the students for their dedication and expressed pride in the outcome. The success also highlights the effectiveness of the college’s approach to practical training and competency-based education.

This accomplishment not only boosts the credentials of the students but also strengthens the reputation of the BSEHS program at UNP-CHS as it continues to prepare future health professionals for real-world challenges.
