CHTM shines at National Tourism and Hospitality Skills Olympics

BAGUIO CITY – Students from the UNP College of Hospitality and Tourism Management showcased their extraordinary skills at the 4th National Tourism and Hospitality Students’ Skills Olympics 2025, held on March 1, 2024, at the University of Baguio. Competing against top students nationwide, UNP secured a remarkable haul of one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal.

Czarah Althea Pinzon clinched the gold medal in Travel Infographics, mentored by Mr. Ruperto Maulit Corpuz. The silver medal in Travel Vlog was awarded to the duo of Yhastine Janna Fontanilla and Mary Sandhee Tabbada, coached by Mr. Mark Anthony Yadao Rosales. Meanwhile, Renaliza Gaboy Paa brought home the bronze medal in Virtual Tour Guiding, guided by Dr. Marjorie Rabacal Rea.

These achievements were part of the 9th International Tourism and Hospitality Students’ Convention, themed “Adapting to a Changing Landscape: Championing Innovation and Sustainability in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.” The event gathered 34 students and seven faculty members from UNP, reinforcing their commitment to excellence in hospitality education. With these accolades, UNP continues to solidify its reputation as a leader in the field.
