The UNP College of Engineering signed a memorandum of agreement with the St. William The Hermit Parish on October 4, 2024 for partnerships along infrastructure and development.

The signing was initiated by Rev. Fr. Bernardo Gonzales, parish priest, representing the recipient party, and Dr. Nelia Verzosa, the dean, representing UNP and witnessed by Mary Jeshen Baniaga, parish secretary and CoE faculty members and students.

After the MOA signing, the team proceeded to measure the existing comfort rooms for future improvements.

With the assistance of the faculty members, the Engineering Department Students’ Association, Junior Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers–UNP Chapter, and Philippines Society of Sanitary Engineers–Ilocos Sur Chapter officers provided a draft of the plan presented to Fr. Gonzales for approval.
