CTECH gears up for TESDA Certifications

The College of Technology conducted a three-day Mentoring and Pre-Assessment Program from May 28 up to May 30, 2025, at the Technology Complex Building, Assessment Area. This was part of its initiative to prepare students for the TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) assessments in Automotive Servicing, Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing, and Mechatronics.

The program, participated by students enrolled in the 2-year technical courses in Automotive and Electronics Technology (NC II is required to advance to the bachelor’s degree programs), as well as students from the BS in Mechatronics and Automation Technology, a ladderized program, (NC II certification is required to progress to the next year level).

With structured review sessions, focused skills reinforcement, and hands-on preparation, the said program aims not only to boost the confidence and competency of the students, but also to further support the university’s goal of enhancing quality assurance and outcomes-based education.
