The Office of Student Affairs and Services conducted the “Empowering Alumni through Sustainable Livelihood: Training on Dishwashing Liquid Making” on March 19, 2025 at Balaleng Elementary School, Bantay, Ilocos Sur. This initiative aimed to equip alumni with entrepreneurial skills and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The Career and Job Placement and Alumni Services, and Economic Enterprise Development Services under the Student Welfare Services Office organized the activity supporting Sustainable Development Goals 8 and 12, focusing on decent work and economic growth, as well as responsible consumption and production. The participants were trained to create eco-friendly dishwashing liquid, encouraging self-sufficiency and sustainable practices.
The program involved alumni and teachers from Balaleng Elementary School. This collaboration highlights OSAS’s dedication to empowering communities through practical skills development and sustainable solutions for household and business settings.
