eTabulateMo 2.0 revolutionized local pageantry when UNP-College of Communication and Information Technology (CCIT) deployed its live scoring system for the Ilocos Sur Festival 2026’s three major coronations: Mister Ilocos Sur (Feb. 5), Ilocos Sur Pride Queen (Feb. 6), and Miss Ilocos Sur (Feb. 11) at CHAVIT Coliseum, produced by Creative Flow Events Manila.
By projecting judges’ scores in real time, the system made transparency visible, allowing candidates, organizers, and audiences to see computations unfold live—boosting credibility and trust.
Leading the team was Dr. Richard C. Arruejo as Lead Tabulator, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of faculty members, IT professionals, partner offices, and student leaders from the University of Northern Philippines: Dr. Arpee C. Arruejo, Dr. Maribel T. Tacla, Prof. Ade John Gestole, Dr. Honey Girl A. Avo, Dr. Rogelio R. Rabena, Dr. Mariano T. Romano Jr., Dr. Harold L. Costales, Ramsel Infanta, Ferino Gem Madriaga, Prof. Norie T. Tactay, Prof. Angelito Ramos, Prof. Gian Paolo Martin Cabanas, Prof. Eddiemar G. Sinco, Mr. Algie Mark Lander N. Supnet, Prof. Leo Angelou B. Baja, Prof. Paul Nikko Quilana, Prof. Jervin Dale Formoso of CHTM, Mr. Jordan Cayabyab of the Legal Office, and student leaders Bernadine Q. Regalado and Adrian Jake V. Habon.
Praise poured in: Erik Gudelano (Mister Earth Asia 2025) called it “pang world class,” user-friendly, and a new Ilocos Sur standard. Provincial Administrator Marlon Tagorda, MPA, commended the team’s professionalism. Social media buzzed with clips of live scores, hailed as fair and progressive.
This innovation shows how universities like UNP-CCIT elevate local events through tech-driven transparency, setting a benchmark where results are revealed in real time.
