The University of Northern Philippines concluded its “Charting Your Future: Career Coaching for Graduates,” on May 14, 2025, at the UNP Gymnasium. The activity involved a comprehensive developmental program aimed at providing graduating students with essential career planning skills. The event reflects the University’s commitment to support students as they transition from academic life to the professional world.
Organized by the Office of Student Affairs – Student Welfare Services Office, through the Career and Job Placement Services, in collaboration with JCI Vigan, the program provided personalized coaching and mentorship for the graduating students. Ms. Joanna Cara Medina and Dr. Rodel Rosario, the learning resource providers, focused their discussions on helping students identify their strengths, understand current job market trends, and enhance employability skills such as resume writing and interview preparation.
This initiative aligns with the university’s dedication to Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting quality education and decent work opportunities. By encouraging proactive career development and lifelong learning, “Charting Your Future” aimed to reduce youth unemployment and empower graduates with the skills necessary for employment and ongoing professional growth.
