From caterpillars to butterflies: A call to soar higher

During the 60th Commencement Exercises of the University of Northern Philippines held on June 3, at the UNP Gymnasium, Dr. Milabel Enriquez-Ho, Executive Director of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), graced Cluster I (College of Health Sciences, College of Nursing, College of Social Work, College of Criminal Justice Education, and Open University) as the distinguished guest speaker. Radiating joy and pride, Dr. Ho warmly congratulated the Class of 2025, inspiring graduates with her heartfelt words and enthusiasm as they celebrated this significant milestone in their academic journey.

In her uplifting message, Dr. Ho reminded the graduates of the boundless nature of education, stating that,

“Learning is a lifelong journey; therefore, embrace it with joy and growth.”

She further encouraged them to dream beyond the ordinary, saying,
“Aim not to be mere caterpillars but to become even more beautiful than butterflies.”
