GST for CHS leaders, writers held
The UNP Center for Gender and Development, true to its advocacy on gender equality and women empowerment, conducted an activity titled “Gender Sensitivity Training for Student Leaders and Writers of the College of Health Sciences” on May 21, 2024 at the UNP Tadena Hall.
Various topics including basic concepts on gender and development, use of gender fair language, gender-sensitive student leadership, among others, were tackled by only the most competent resource speakers.
This training is one among several trainings and awareness seminars planned by the CGAD to sustain the Center’s gender mainstreaming efforts in the University. It is also beneficial for students to develop and exhibit gender-sensitive servant leadership and campus journalism skills and ideals, in addition to transparency, integrity, and commitment.
