The University of Northern Philippines celebrated the graduation of 3,107 students from the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training Service (LTS) in a grand ceremony at the UNP Gymnasium on May 24, 2025. The event, themed, “UNP Graduate: From Service to Leadership – Inspiring Change in Every Step,” highlighted the dedication of student-volunteers to community development over the past year.
Dr. Ronald Gotico of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology was the guest speaker. In his speech, Dr. Gotico commended the graduates and informed them that the journey is not complete and it is just the beginning. During the program, student representatives from CWTS and LTS recounted their experiences, telling stories of outreach, literacy initiatives, environmental efforts, and youth empowerment activities that significantly affected their communities.
As these young leaders transition from their volunteer roles, the University of Northern Philippines remains committed to its mission of producing graduates who excel academically and are profoundly dedicated to public service.
