LS celebrates 31st Moving-Up Ceremony for Preschoolers

The College of Teacher Education’s Laboratory Schools marked a momentous celebration with the 31st Moving-Up Ceremony for preschoolers, held on May 20, 2025, at Tadema Hall. The event honored the achievements of young learners as they completed their preschool education and prepared to transition into formal schooling.

The ceremony highlighted the Laboratory Schools’ commitment to providing quality education, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG #4) on gender equality, cultural development, and inclusive learning. The program recognized each child’s unique journey, emphasizing the importance of an inclusive, culturally enriched environment that values diversity and fosters meaningful collaboration among educators, families, and stakeholders.

The celebration highlighted the collective efforts of teachers, parents, and administrators, paying tribute to their unwavering support in shaping well-rounded individuals ready to embrace future challenges.

This moving-up ceremony not only celebrated the accomplishments of the preschoolers but also reaffirmed the school’s dedication to partnership, shared goals, and the promise of bright futures for its young graduates.
