UNP faculty and former CGAD Director Dr. Victoria Riberal Arce has been certified as a member of the National GAD Resource Pool (NGRP) Batch 9 of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW).

She was listed as one on the 33 successful applicants out of a total of 115 in a memorandum issued by the PCW last November 8, 2024. This follows a rigorous certification process that consisted of four stages: application, levelling session, return demonstration, and certification.

The 33 successful applicants signed a Partnership Agreement with the PCW and were formally accepted into the GAD Resource Pool through a certification ceremony during the 7^th GAD Resource Pool Assembly held on December 3-5, 2024 at Park Inn by Radisson, Clark Pampanga.

Dr. Arce served as the director of the Center for Gender and Development from 2021-2023 and is the third UNP faculty to have earned this certification.

She teaches social science courses at the College of Teacher Education.
