The NSTP Office of the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) held its orientation program at the UNP Gymnasium on September 13, 2024. The event focused on familiarizing students with Republic Act 9163, its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRRs), and the three core components of the National Service Training Program (NSTP).

The orientation aimed to provide students with a clear understanding of the NSTP’s objectives, which include civic welfare, law enforcement, and literacy training. It served as an opportunity for students to meet and engage with their NSTP educators and implementers, setting the groundwork for effective collaboration throughout the program.

By the end of the session, students were better prepared for their roles in community service and national development, as outlined by the NSTP.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Carlo Ventura, the NSTP officer-in-charge.
