Peer Facilitators reorganized to strengthen student leadership

The Peer Facilitators Club, the student extension arm of the University’s Guidance and Counseling Services, marked a new chapter with its reorganization for Academic Year 2025–2026 through the event “Pagsibol ng Bagong Tinig” held on August 27, 2025, at the Student Center’s Ground Floor.

Guided by Peer Facilitators Club advisers Mrs. Rowena Mamuad and Dr. Marifel Acena, Head of the Student Welfare Services Office under the Office of Student Affairs and Services, the event concluded with the election of a new set of officers. Leading the roster is Ms. Gian Quindipan from the BS Psychology program as President, alongside Mr. Kurt Taruna from the BS Criminology program as Vice President. Completing the lineup are student leaders who will serve as Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Business Managers, and College Representatives.

This reorganization marks a critical step towards growth, resilience, and a renewed commitment to student support through quality initiatives that are both responsive and effective.

Through activities like these, the University demonstrates how it empowers and encourages student-led organizations as vital partners in building strong campus community where students thrive socially and academically.
