The University of Northern Philippines College of Law marked a defining moment in its pursuit of academic excellence as twenty-four (24) resolute fourth-year Juris Doctor students triumphed in the 2026 Pre-Mock Bar Examination—an exacting simulation of the country’s most formidable legal test. Far beyond a measure of knowledge, the grueling exercise demanded unwavering focus, mental endurance, and steadfast composure under pressure, mirroring the intensity and discipline required of future members of the Bar.
This achievement was made possible through the collective dedication of the UNP College of Law Central Bar Operations, whose meticulous preparation underscored the institution’s unwavering commitment to bar readiness. The 2026 Pre-Mock Bar Examination was thoughtfully designed as a comprehensive consolidation of frequently asked questions, strategically developed by the College’s esteemed Bar subject coordinators: Atty. Mirela Versoza (Political Law), Atty. Jason Rapisura (Commercial Law), Atty. Anna Karizza Rialubin (Taxation Law), Atty. Zsarmaine Lee Prades (Civil Law), Atty. Aryan Cesar Manglapus (Labor Law), Atty. Meilyne Padua-Unciano (Criminal Law), Atty. Aaron Noel Taloza (Remedial Law), and Atty. Haysheryl Salamanca (Legal and Judicial Ethics).
The examination was meticulously administered under the leadership of Atty. Kathryn Luise Eder, Chairperson of the Central Bar Operations Team, whose steady guidance ensured the seamless conduct of the simulation. She was strongly supported by Atty. Verselie Limos, Dean of the College of Law; Atty. Taloza, Assistant Dean; and Atty. Salamanca, College Information Coordinator. Through their collective efforts, the Pre-Mock Bar faithfully replicated the structure, discipline, and pressure of the actual Bar examination—providing students with an authentic and immersive experience that prepared them for the demands of the real test.
Beyond the test booklets and the relentless ticking of the clock, the Pre-Mock Bar stood as a celebration of grit and determination. Each carefully crafted answer and every essay submitted bore witness to months of rigorous preparation, disciplined study, and unwavering resolve—qualities that will prove indispensable as the students face the ultimate challenge of the Bar Examination.
Completing the Pre-Mock Bar marks a pivotal milestone in the journey of these aspiring attorneys. Strengthened by the steadfast guidance and mentorship of the College and the Central Bar Operations Team, the 24 examinees move forward with renewed confidence and sharpened readiness, inspired to press on in their pursuit of excellence and service in the legal profession.
