UNP BS Accountancy program achieves COPC from CHED
The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program of the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) has achieved a significant milestone by earning the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This recognition underscores the university’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and the delivery of high-quality education.
The College of Business Administration and Accountancy, along with the UNP administration, played an instrumental role in this achievement. Their steadfast support and guidance were pivotal throughout the process, demonstrating a shared dedication to advancing educational standards.
The program’s success is further strengthened by its collaboration with the National Association of CPAs in Education, which has provided Continuing Professional Development seminars. These initiatives have empowered faculty members to enhance their teaching methodologies in delivering an enriched learning experience to students.
Adding to the celebration, five distinguished faculty members have earned their Certification as Accounting Teachers from the Professional Regulation Commission – Board of Accountancy. This achievement not only highlights their individual dedication and expertise but also reflects the program’s overall commitment to fostering excellence in accountancy education.
This milestone marks a step forward in the University’s mission to develop competent and competitive future accounting professionals. UNP remains steadfast in its pursuit of greater success in accountancy education, driven by the collective efforts of its faculty, administration, and academic partners.
Together, the UNP community continues to set benchmarks of excellence in the field of accountancy, ensuring a bright future for its students and graduates.
