UNP-CCIT partners with Globe and TM for a fun-filled week celebration

The UNP College of Communication and Information Technology, Globe and TM officially launched TM Tambayan, which included a variety of FUN-malakasan and FUN-kasiyahang activities during the 17th CCIT founding anniversary on November 25, 2024 at the UNP Pavilion. This year’s theme, “Digital Horizons: Uniting Code and Creativity” highlights the seamless blend of technology and artistic expression.

The event is particularly significant as it commemorates the founding anniversary of the College of Communication and Information Technology, a testament to its legacy of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.

Dr. Rolando B. Navarro, Vice President for Academic Affairs, acknowledged the challenges brought about by recent suspensions but extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Trojans. “There have been a lot of suspensions, but we don’t want to take the fun away from you” he reassured. His message inspired everyone to fully embrace the festivities, emphasizing the importance of finding joy and unity even amidst academic challenges.

Following the simple opening program, the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the TM and Globe booth took place, featuring FUN-malakasan and FUN-kasiyahang activities.

The ceremony was led by Dr. Rolando Navarro, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Luzviminda Relon, Director for Instruction and Faculty Development, Ms. Maribel Tacla, Assistant Dean of CCIT, Trina Paula Ablog, ACTS Governor and guests from TM and Globe.

Hon. Noriel Jay Paino, UNP Student Council President, was also present and even participated in the celebration marking the start of the 17th CCIT Week festivities.
