UNP celebrates Dental Health Month
The UNP Medical Dental Services Offices (MDSO) actively promotes oral health in recognition of National Dental Health Month, celebrated every February. The activity aims to strengthen public awareness and emphasize the importance of good oral hygiene through health education. This year’s theme, “Brushing ang Key, Sa Ngiping Healthy,” highlights the importance of proper dental care.
The MDSO in collaboration with the Nursing Students’ Organization, successfully conducted the event on February 21, 2025, at the Guestel Function Hall. This initiative featured a lecture on oral health, the distribution of oral health kits for Grade 1-3 pupils of the Laboratory Schools and aimed to educate young minds on proper dental care and hygiene.
The event aimed to educate young minds on proper dental care and hygiene, as it featured discussions from Dr. Richard Daskeo, university dentist, Ms. Mia Gracia Petate, university nurse, and words of inspiration from Ms. Genelly Ramos, Miss UNP 2024, Mr. Albert Tejero, VPFAd, and Dr. Aurelia Vitamog, LS Principal were also present.
