Delegates of the 5th NEPRAGuild Biennial International Conference gathered for an evening of cultural immersion and fellowship during the Cultural Night and Welcome Dinner hosted by the University of Northern Philippines on July 15, 2025, at the Tadena Hall.
The program featured captivating performances by the UNP Danggay Saririt Dance Troupe and Singers and the UNP BIN-I Chorus, showcasing the richness of Ilocano culture through traditional songs and dances. Special musical numbers by UNP College of Nursing instructors Mr. Julius Tabutol, Mr. Christian Cabotaje, and Mr. Soren Paulo Avila added to the festive atmosphere.
Following the performances, delegates enjoyed a fellowship meal and participated in informal activities, including group photo sessions and opportunities for networking and cultural exchange. Many also visited Vigan City’s famed Calle Crisologo and enjoyed the city’s popular Dancing Fountain attraction.
Held from July 15 to 16, the 5th NEPRAGuild Biennial International Conference convened nearly 200 nurse educators, practitioners, and researchers to explore the evolving roles of nurses as innovators, leaders, and economic contributors under the theme, “Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care Through C.O.N.V.E.R.G.E.N.C.E.”
The Cultural Night and Welcome Dinner served as a joyful close to Day 1, fostering connection, cultural appreciation, and camaraderie among nursing professionals from the Philippines and around the world.
