The program commenced with an opening ceremony on October 7, where attendees shared their expectations for the week ahead. A special session focused on the partnership between the University of Szczecin and ITS, demonstrating how such collaborations can enhance academic opportunities.
On October 8, participants were introduced to ITS’s strategic initiatives aimed at fostering global collaborations. Notably, ITS students played a significant role in facilitating various activities throughout the program. This day also featured a Fun Bahasa Indonesia session and a cultural showcase that included traditional music and dance performances.
The following day involved visits to different ITS departments, where participants observed innovative practices in engineering and technology education, emphasizing applied learning and community engagement.
On the fourth day, participants attended Student Talent Presentations, which highlighted the diverse skills of ITS students. Discussions regarding partnerships with other Indonesian universities underscored the importance of collaboration in addressing educational challenges.
The final day included a trip to Mount Bromo, providing stunning views and an opportunity for reflection on the week’s experiences. The closing ceremony allowed participants to express their gratitude to the ITS team and celebrate the new connections formed during the program.
The International Staff Mobility Program proved to be an enriching experience that provided valuable insights into international collaboration in higher education.
