UNP, DRGMHS seal agreement anew
The fourth memorandum of agreement between the University of Northern Philippines and Don Ricardo Gacula Memorial National High School (DRGMNHS) was entered into on March 7, 2024 in Candon City, Ilocos Sur.
Dr. Erwin Cadorna, UNP President, and Dr. Analyn Galanto, DRGMNHS Principal, sealed the agreement that the University will provide services like the provision of medical and dental services; conduct of information and advocacy programs; skills training, technology and livelihood projects; lectures in coaching and officiating sports games, training on disaster risk reduction and managements, basic life support, basic first aid and rescue operations; health, technological, educational, economic and business management trainings; and capacity building activities for teachers, employees and students.
Dr. Cadorna, in his message expressed the University’s willingness to share expertise to the adopted school and the DRGMNHS stakeholders.
This is another school where the UNP President added the provision of scholarship for faculty in the agreement.
Dr. Galanto, on the other hand, is thankful for the partnership and the continuous support of the University to the adopted school.
The DRGMNHS has been a recipient of many extension services by the different programs of the University.
Present during the MOA signing were Dr. Fatima Rocamora, Vice President for Research and Extension; Prof. May Evelia Ruadap and Ms. Claudette Rabago, Extension Coordinators; Ms. Ruth Galicia, Parents Teachers Association President; Eulalia Alatraca, co-chair, School Governance Council; and faculty and students of DRGMNHS.
