In a groundbreaking move toward bridging the gap between education and employment, the University of Northern Philippines officially signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with SeeMeSOL Inc., a dynamic recruitment and employment solutions provider, on July 10, 2025, to boost graduate employability and foster global competitiveness among UNP alumni and students. The signing of the MOA was initiated by the Office of Student Affairs and Services.
The ceremonial signing brought together UNP President Dr. Erwin Cadorna and Mr. David Padgett, Chairperson of the Board of SeeMeSOL Inc., along with key University officials that include Dr. Rolando Navarro, VP for Academic Affairs; Mr. Albert Tejero, VP for Finance and Administration; Dr. Aldrin Jaramilla, Faculty Regent; Jake Axel Tacadena, Student Regent; and Atty. Jonalyn Almachar, Board of Regents Secretary.
This partnership commenced on July 1, 2025, until June 30, 2026, and is anchored on UNP’s continuing mission to produce globally and morally upright professionals. With this agreement, SeeMeSOL commits to delivering innovative recruitment services such as video CVs, multimedia job posts, job matching, alumni tracer studies, mentoring modules, and career coaching programs. These efforts aim to open up vast opportunities for UNP graduates in both local and international industries.
The MOA outlines mutual responsibilities where UNP shall spearhead the evaluation and endorsement of student and alumni qualifications, implementation of relevant trainings and seminars, and overall collaboration for the successful roll-out of SeeMeSOL’s programs. The university also guarantees the availability of materials and technical support essential to the partnership’s success.
On the other hand, SeeMeSOL Inc. pledges to actively coordinate with UNP in implementing program activities, ensuring continuity of existing projects, and promoting employment-related services that will help graduates transition smoothly from education to industry.
This partnership is not just a milestone but a strategic leap toward innovation in career development, aligning perfectly with the government’s Bagong Pilipinas vision of strengthening the link between education and employment. It further underscores UNP’s commitment to academic excellence, student empowerment, and global impact—earning continued recognition in esteemed international rankings such as WURI, THE, UI GreenMetric, and its distinction as a national center for gender and development (CGAD).
With this collaboration, UNP reinforces its identity as a forward-thinking institution—one that transforms futures, builds careers, and champions Filipino talent on the global stage.
