UNP honored as trusted partner at JeNeFa Scholastica’s 16th Founding Anniversary

Demonstrating its enduring commitment to academic collaboration and community partnership, the University of Northern Philippines took part in the 16th Founding Anniversary celebration of JeNeFa Scholastica, Inc. on February 23, 2026—an occasion made even more meaningful as UNP was formally recognized as one of the institution’s trusted and valued partner schools.

Held at the JeNeFa Scholastica Grounds, the anniversary celebration convened partner institutions and distinguished guests in a shared tribute to enduring collaborations that advance education, champion student welfare, and foster community development. The gathering showed the strength of institutional partnerships built on service and shared purpose.

Representing the University of Northern Philippines, Dr. Marifel Acena, Head of the Student Welfare Program and Program Head of MAGC, formally received the recognition, joined by representatives from the College of Arts and Sciences and the Student Welfare Services Office—an affirmation of the University’s commitment to holistic student support and community engagement.

Organizers emphasized that the recognition highlighted organizations that have significantly contributed to JeNeFa’s initiatives, particularly those promoting student formation, mental health awareness, psychoeducational support, and community outreach. UNP’s participation reflected its ongoing partnership with the organization under an existing memorandum of agreement.

University officials noted that taking part in the anniversary reaffirmed UNP’s commitment to strengthen institutional linkages and sustain joint programs that benefit learners and communities. Collaborative engagements such as this help expand opportunities for holistic development and socially responsive education.

The anniversary program also served as a venue for partner institutions to reconnect, celebrate shared accomplishments, and explore future initiatives aimed at enhancing student support services and community engagement.
