The University of Northern Philippines officially ushered in Academic Year 2026–2027 on July 27 with a vibrant campus-wide opening program warmly welcoming students from all year levels and reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence, student success, and transformative education as the University embarks on another year of learning and innovation.
Following the flag-raising ceremony, University President Dr. Erwin Cadorna warmly welcomed the students to the opening of academic year inspiring them to embrace every opportunity that university life has to offer. In his message, he encouraged the students to pursue academic excellence with determination while actively engaging in campus activities that promote personal growth, leadership, and lifelong friendships. He reminded them to make the most of their journey at the University of Northern Philippines, emphasizing that their years at the institution would serve as a vital foundation for their future careers, character, and service to society.
Led by the University Student Council, the opening program brought together students from the different academic units in a vibrant celebration that marked the official opening of Academic Year 2026–2027. The event transformed the campus into a lively showcase of the University’s dynamic and diverse student community, as freshmen embarked on a new academic journey with returning students eager to begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement.
