UNP leads career guidance initiative for young learners in Ilocos Sur

Reaffirming its commitment to community engagement and student development, the University of Northern Philippines (UNP), through its Guidance and Counseling Services Office, actively took part in a Career Guidance Activity hosted by JeNeFa Scholastica, Inc. on March 17, 2026, at its campus in Bayubay Sur, San Vicente, Ilocos Sur.

UNP representatives Mrs. Sarah Alcayaga, guidance counselor, and Mrs. Precious Emerald Castillo, guidance coordinator, played key roles in the success of the activity, serving as resource speaker and judge, respectively. Through their expertise, they provided valuable insights on career pathways, personal growth, and responsible decision-making, inspiring students to pursue their aspirations with confidence and purpose.

Anchored on empowering learners beyond the classroom, UNP’s participation highlighted its dedication to nurturing future-ready individuals equipped with both skills and values essential for lifelong success.

The activity also strengthened the partnership between UNP and JeNeFa Scholastica, Inc., fostering collaborative efforts that support holistic education and community development. Through engaging and interactive sessions, participants were encouraged to explore various career opportunities and develop a deeper sense of self-awareness.

UNP continues to extend its services beyond the university, reaching out to partner institutions and communities to guide and inspire the next generation of leaders.
