On December 6, 2024, the campus of the University of Northern Philippines was superb with festive cheer as students, faculty, staff, and community members gathered for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in front of the Administration Building.

The event featured the magnificent three-tier Christmas tree, the Official Christmas ID, and the fireworks that lit up the sky was sponsored by Vice Governor Ryan Luis Singson, President, UNP Federated Alumni, symbolizing the joy and spirit of the holiday season and standing tall amidst a backdrop of vibrant fireworks illuminating the night sky.

The celebration was attended by the UNP community. Hon. Vic Singson (PPSK president) and Hon. Nestor Pajaro (city councilor) were also present. Their presence emphasized the unity and festive spirit of the occasion.

The evening was made even more spectacular with a dazzling fireworks display which captivated attendees and added to the celebratory atmosphere. The event served as a gathering point for the UNP community, fostering connections among students, faculty, and staff, while celebrating the joys of the season together.

The Christmas tree not only represented holiday cheer but also stood as a beacon of hope and togetherness, reflecting the values of community and generosity that are central to the University’s mission. This year’s ceremony was a resounding success, marking a joyful start to the holiday season at UNP.
