UNP renews pact with lidlidda nHS
The University of Northern Philippines, through the Office of the Vice President for Research and Extension, signed anew a memorandum of agreement with Lidlidda National High School on February 5, 2024.
Before the signing of the MOA, Dr. Fatima Rocamora, Vice President for Research and Extension, had an audience with the principal of the school, Ms. Luzviminda Escalona and other faculty members, to thresh out the school’s needs which the University may provide.
Among the needs expressed by the teachers were learning intervention program for struggling readers, trainings along mental health and stress management, robotics for faculty and students of the STEM strand, journalism lecture, livelihood training for both teachers and parents, and organic agriculture for parents.
The meeting with the school’s faculty and signing of the MOA was attended by Dr. Lloyd Mata (Director of the University Extension Office), Prof. May Evelia Ruadap, Mr. Randal Rabacal, and Ms. Eileen Rose Paculan (Extension Coordinators for UNP), and Mr. Neil Joseph Titular, Ms. Elma Bannawag, and Mon Magan-an (Lidlidda National High School).
The MOA is effective for one year, from February 2024 to January 2025.
