UNP renews partnership with Lidlidda NHS through simultaneous lectures and MOA signing

The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) strengthened its academic partnership with Lidlidda National High School (LNHS) through a day of simultaneous lectures and the renewal of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on September 5, 2025.

The lectures, themed “Maximizing Efficiency in the Digital Age: Literacy and Productivity Tools Training,” featured Ms. Illah Faypon, who discussed Digital Literacy, and Dr. Shareen Navarro, who shared insights on Productivity Tools, attended by Senior High School students. At the same time, a separate session on Journalism was delivered by Mr. Johnny Allagadan Jr. to Grades 7 to 12 students of LNHS.

Coordinating the event were Dr. Eileen Rose Paculan, Prof. May Evelia Ruadap, and Ms. Ana Leah Alconis, who ensured the smooth flow of the activities.

Following the lectures was the renewal of the MOA between UNP and LNHS took place. The agreement was signed by Ms. Ma. Emilia Jaramilla, Officer-in-Charge, Office of the Principal of LNHS, and Dr. Erwin Cadorna, UNP President, reaffirming the commitment to further strengthen the collaboration in academic and extension initiatives.

The activity was spearheaded by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Extension, under the leadership of Dr. Fatima Rocamora. The initiative highlights UNP’s continuing efforts to extend its expertise beyond the university and contribute to the development of partner institutions in the region.
