The University’s Information and Communications Technology Office (ICTO) conducted a re-engagement training titled “Aligning the Records and Property Management Systems with User Needs” on October 2, 2025 via Zoom. The activity aimed to strengthen the university’s digital governance initiatives by refining the Records Management System (RMS) and Property Management System (PMS) in alignment with actual user experiences and operational requirements.
Participants from the Property and Supply Management Office, Records Office, Accounting Office, and ICTO actively took part in the session, which underscored the University’s commitment to collaborative system development. The event exemplified ICTO’s ongoing efforts to streamline administrative processes and promote a more efficient, user-centered digital environment within the institution.
The Records Management System and Property Management System were initially developed to promote organized record-keeping and ensure responsible asset tracking across the University. Today, these systems are undergoing significant updates to better respond to the evolving operational needs of various offices. The recent training served as an avenue for system users to raise concerns, propose enhancements, and align digital workflows with the real-world processes of the Property and Records Offices.
Mr. Bon Velasco of BSTech Solution, who served as the resource speaker, guided participants through the latest system upgrades and demonstrated how to maximize the new features for more efficient and user-friendly operations.
The virtual training highlighted the university’s strong commitment, through the Information and Communications Technology Office, to advance digital transformation that enhances efficiency, transparency, and accountability in its operations. It reflects the institution’s proactive approach to develop systems that are not only user-friendly but also seamlessly integrated to support collaboration and data-driven decision-making. By directly involving stakeholders in system updates and improvements, the University ensures that its digital tools remain responsive to real user needs—empowering offices to deliver faster, more reliable, and service-oriented processes for the entire university community.
