UNP strengthens workplace health through Campus-Wide First Aid Kit Replenishment, Vitamin Distribution

Strengthening campus health and safety ahead of the new academic year, the University of Northern Philippines, through its Medical and Dental Services Office (MDSO), conducted a campus-wide first aid kit replenishment and vitamin distribution drive from June 8 to 10, 2026.

Led by Dr. Eric Jun Caday, the initiative brought together the Medical and Dental Services Office staff and third-year BS Biology students of the College of Arts and Sciences in a unified effort to advance community health and service. Under the guidance and deployment of Dr. Charo Rojas, BS Biology Program Head, the students played a vital role in the activity, exemplifying the university’s commitment to produce scientifically competent, socially responsive, and service-oriented future professionals.

The initiative reinforced the University’s commitment to workplace health and safety by ensuring that first aid stations in various offices were adequately replenished with essential medical supplies, allowing for immediate and effective response to minor injuries and health emergencies. Beyond emergency preparedness, the activity also strengthened the institution’s preventive healthcare program through the distribution of vitamins to employees, promoting better health, enhancing immunity, and fostering a more resilient and productive workforce.

By strengthening emergency preparedness and promoting employee well-being, the initiative emphasized UNP’s commitment to maintain a safe, healthy, and productive campus environment for Academic Year 2026–2027.
