Ms. Abegail Habon, a Master of Arts in Teaching English student of College of Teacher Education, University of Northern Philippines, secured the Best in Poster Award at the virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2025, held from on July 7 to 18, 2025.
Ms. Habon was part of a UNP contingent that included: John Wendel R. Manzano (MAT English), Maxie C. Tolentino (MAT PE), Marjorie B. Tadea (MAT PE), and Charmaine Angela Ancho (Faculty member, College of Criminal Justice Education).
The participants engaged in a range of virtual activities and discussions, covering topics such as Indonesian local languages, Indonesian traditional songs, and fun Bahasa Indonesia. They also participated in cultural activities and a virtual city tour.
The Virtual CommTECH Exploration 2025 was a short program that introduced international participants to technology and culture at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) and in Indonesia.
