The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) and Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) in Indonesia conducted their first Industrial Technology Collaboration Meeting on March 6, 2025, via Zoom. The event aimed to strengthen academic and research ties between the two institutions.

Dr. Sally Jarin, Director of UNP’s International Affairs and External Linkages Office, informed participants on the objectives of the activity. Key introductions followed, with Dr. Allan Guillermo presenting UNP’s Industrial Technology team, while Dr. Jimmi, Head of UBSI’s International Affairs Office, introduced UBSI’s representatives. Messages of support and partnership were delivered by Dr. Julius Moises Abalos, UNP College of Technology Dean, and Dr. Miwan Kurniawan, Head of UBSI’s Industrial Technology Study Program.

The agenda focused on academic visits, faculty and student exchanges, online lectures, and joint research. This initiative marks a significant step toward international collaboration in industrial technology education.
