Online accreditation survey visit concludes

 

On September 27, 2024, the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) effectively completed the accreditation of four of its programs, marking a significant turning point in its continuous quest of academic excellence.

The programs which underwent survey were Bachelor of Physical Education, Bachelor of Special Needs Education, Master of Arts in Technology and Livelihood Education, and Master of Science in Criminal Justice.

Beginning on September 23, 2024, the accreditation process assessed important programs and services, reiterating the University’s dedication to upholding high standards in academic performance and instruction.

Bulacan State University Coordinator Dr. Nancy M. Santiago offered advice to enhance the submitted documents by highlighting areas that needed improvement. She also acknowledged the University’s achievements in academic excellence and continual progress, and lauded its steadfast dedication to upholding high standards of excellent education.

Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, University President, thanked the accreditors for their clear assessment, which pointed out the institution’s strong points and areas in need of development.

He characterized the certification procedure as a great chance for development, introspection, and a reconfirmation of UNP’s dedication to high standards in education. He underscored that the “pursuit of excellence is not a destination but a continuous journey. “

To ensure the long-term success of the institution and its students, he concluded his message by urging the UNP community to apply the lessons learnt as a roadmap for future progress.

In closing, Dr. Fatima F. Rocamora, Vice President for Research and Extension, expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the accreditation and preliminary survey visit. She acknowledged the hard work and dedication behind the process and assured that the University deeply appreciates and recognizes the efforts of all who contributed.

“Always remember that the quest for academic excellence is a continuous process, and there is always a room for improvement,” Rocamora added.
