CAS holds 2nd Recognition Program for Graduating Students

The College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Northern Philippines conducted its 2nd Recognition Program for Graduating Students on May 5, 2026, at the UNP Auditorium, recognizing graduating students for their academic achievements, leadership, and dedication.

Attended by proud parents of the awardees, CAS faculty members led by Dr. Grace Garcia, OIC, Dean and Dr. Erwin Cadorna, UNP President.

President Dr. Erwin Cadorna commended the graduating students for their perseverance and encouraged them to uphold the values and ideals of the university as they pursue their future endeavors.

The event featured Dr. Dina Grace Banguilan, Post Doctorate Fellow at the Laser Science Laboratory of Toyota Technological Institute in Nagoya, Japan, as the guest speaker. In her message, Dr. Banguilan encouraged the graduates to remain resilient, continue learning, and pursue their dreams despite challenges, emphasizing that success comes through perseverance and dedication.

The recognition program celebrated the collective efforts of students, parents, and faculty members in supporting the success of the graduating class, as it reaffirmed the commitment of the College of Arts and Sciences in producing competent, value-oriented, and socially responsible graduates.
