BA Political Science Festival 2025 champions sectoral representation and good governance
The BA Political Science (POLIS) Program Festival 2025 organized by the College of Arts and Sciences – BA Political Science which runs from March 24 to 25, 2025 at the UNP Grandstand celebrates sectoral representation and inclusivity.
The festival emphasizes the active involvement of societal groups such as women, youth, farmers, indigenous peoples, and laborers. It fosters awareness, inclusivity, and empowerment through activities like debates, chalk art competitions, and an amazing race. Day 1 highlights included a university parade, a yell competition, and the quirky Mr. & Ms. Foolish contest.
The event aligns with UNP’s goals to develop ethical leaders, enhance quality assurance in education, ensure good governance, and mainstream gender and development. The POLIS Festival serves as a platform to celebrate diversity while promoting democratic participation and cultural heritage.
