BatSU visits UNP for benchmarking and collaboration
A team of 41 officials and personnel of Batangas State University, National Engineering University, visited the University of Northern Philippines on July 23, 2024, for partnerships and collaborations in academics, research, extension and production programs.
Atty. Noel Alberto Omandap, Vice President for Development and External Affairs, headed the BatSU team. In his message, he highlighted that BatSU is open for partnerships and collaborations with other SUCs for their program entitled “Academic Building Rapport & Institutional Development Goals through Inclusive Knowledge Generation”.
Engr. Saturnino T. Tablada, Executive Assistant to the President, welcomed the delegation of BatSU and expressed the profound gratitude of the University for the partnership and opportunity.
The University of Northern Philippines officials were introduced by Engr. Franklyn T. Amistad, Asst. Dean of the College of Engineering (CoE), while the best practices, activities and programs of the CoE were presented by Engr. Romel B. San Diego Jr., faculty of CoE.
After the program hosted by the College of Engineering, BatSU officials visited the offices of the Registrar, Planning, Internal Audit, Guidance and Counselling Services, Library, and Auxiliary Services, and the Colleges of Nursing and Arts and Sciences for benchmarking.
