The Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering of the of University of Northern Philippines College of Engineering student representatives to the PaGElingan Quiz Show during the North Luzon Geodetic Engineering Conference held on February 8 and 9, 2025 at Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza, Baguio City emerged victorious.

The UNP team, composed of 4th-year BSGE students Jennyvy Ann Ramirez, Krystal Janelle Langui, and Kyla Claire Reclusado, claimed the championship title, while their fellow UNP students Isaac Lester Disay, Thea Rose Tagura, and Jasmin Domingo secured the first runner-up position.

The event featured participants from leading institutions offering Geodetic Engineering programs in North Luzon, including Saint Louis University—Baguio, Mountain Province State University, Baguio Central University, and the University of Northern Philippines.

The two-day conference, organized by the Association of Geodetic Engineering Students—SLU Chapter, brought together students and members of the Geodetic Engineers of the Philippines. The event was filled with technical sessions, team-building activities, and the highly anticipated quiz competition, which tested participants’ knowledge of geodetic engineering principles, surveying techniques, and industry advancements.

The winners were honored during the Flag Ceremony at UNP on February 10, 2025, in recognition of their outstanding achievements. Their victory highlights the university’s commitment to excellence in geodetic engineering education and showcases the competence and dedication of its students in their field.
